Engineering and Mining

Engineering Courses

Metal fabricators (boilermakers) and welders build, maintain and repair metal products and structures. If you take a Fabrication Engineering course at TAFE, you will learn the skills and knowledge required to manufacture, assemble and maintain a wide range of equipment and machinery including: mining structures; heavy transport and earth moving equipment; building structures; oil-rigs; agricultural equipment; and storage vessels.

Mining Courses

Courses in Resource Processing will help you gain the practical skills and knowledge needed for planning and managing plant shutdowns and systems to prevent incidents and emergencies.
