Our Skill Set course is designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills critical for new starters. This course reflects the site training required for Workplace Health and Safety in high-risk environments, making it highly regarded by the industry, especially for those with minimal experience in mining.
The following units will provide you with the fundamental knowledge, skills, and understanding of industry requirements, including:
- Communicate effectively in industry (including industry specific acronyms and two-way use protocols),
- Understand the requirements to perform risk assessments to industry standard,
- Understand and adhere to Work Health and Safety requirements, Acts & Regulations,
- Isolate and access plant
- Work safely in confined spaces and
- Gas Test atmospheres
