Central Regional TAFE is proud to offer English as an Additional Language (EAL) courses to new migrants to Australia.
Moving to a new country can be challenging, especially when facing a language barrier. Being in a foreign place, away from your native country, and unable to understand or communicate with others can make life difficult—not only by restricting the development of social connections, but also by limiting your ability to work and live independently. A lack of English language comprehension and speaking skills can lead to socioeconomic hardship and hinder integration into Australian society.
That’s why providing a high-quality program focused on developing foundational English language skills is so important. It can make a significant difference in helping eligible migrants and humanitarian entrants participate in Australian society on their own terms.
