You will learn about plant identification; nutrition needs for different plants; soil improvement; irrigation systems; pruning and plant maintenance; implementing propagation plans; controlling weeds, pests and diseases; the environmental application of chemicals; and workplace safety and health. You will also learn to tell the real plants from the weeds, and how to install and maintain plant displays and nursery plants.
