Animal Studies

In 2018, more than 62% of Australian households owned a pet. In Western Australia alone, there was a staggering 57% of households with pets. That’s a lot of furry and feathered friends to make lasting, happy memories with. And for most pet owners, pets aren’t just cute, furry creatures to play with and train. Most pet owners see their furry friends as important, irreplaceable family members, and see to it that they get the best care that they can, whether there’s a need for a routine checkup, or their furry friends have an illness or affliction that needs taking care of.

If this sounds like something you may want to do, looking into doing animal studies can be a fulfilling pathway into a rewarding career. If you have a passion for animals, providing companion animal services may sound like a good fit for you. Learning with TAFE animal care courses can provide you with a good foundation to start a career working with our loyal animal friends.
