This unit of competency outlines the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge needed for responsible alcohol service. It applies to all personnel involved in the sale, service or promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises.

This short course will give you the skills and the ability to engage in the sale or service of alcohol responsibly.
This unit of competency outlines the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge needed for responsible alcohol service. It applies to all personnel involved in the sale, service or promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises. Responsible practices must be followed wherever alcohol is sold or served, including situations where alcohol samples are provided during onsite tastings.
The unit is relevant to any workplace where alcohol is served or sold such as hospitality venues, packaged liquor outlets, wineries, breweries and distilleries. Individuals selling or serving alcohol must hold a state‑ or territory‑based Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

Please note: an Incidental Fee of $19.00 for the Didasko Learning Resource will also be payable for this skill set.

Additional resource fees and discretionary fees may apply.
- VET Student Loans for eligible courses and fee caps may be subject to changes implemented by the Australian Government.
