This Skill Set course addresses the growing industry demand for skilled leaders and supports workforce development. It enables businesses to build strong internal leadership capabilities, improve team performance, and meet compliance requirements in sectors like aged care, mining, engineering, city councils, hospitality, and construction.
Ideal for individuals currently in leadership roles or those planning to apply for leadership positions.
Students will enroll in the following five units:
- BSBLDR411 – Demonstrate Leadership in the Workplace: Start with leadership foundations.
- BSBPEF502 – Develop and Use Emotional Intelligence: Build emotional self-awareness and regulation.
- BSBCMM412 – Lead Difficult Conversations: Strengthen communication and conflict resolution skills.
- BSBLDR413 – Lead Effective Workplace Relationships: Enhance collaboration and trust.
- BSBCRT411 – Apply Critical Thinking to Work Practices: Conclude with higher-order thinking and decision-making.

- Concession rates: If eligible, proof of concession must be presented.
- Concessions and the secondary school age fee cap do not apply to commercial courses (short courses), or Foundation Programs (i.e ESL and General Education).
- Secondary school aged persons (in 2025, students born on or after 1 July 2007 who are at least 15 years old in 2025) undertaking training that is not part of a VET Delivered to Secondary Schools program, the maximum course (tuition) fee chargeable is $420. Additional resource fees and discretionary fees may apply.
- VET Student Loans for eligible courses and fee caps may be subject to changes implemented by the Australian Government.
