Take on complicated art projects with a developed skill set and knowledge of various materials and mediums. You'll have the opportunity to focus on areas such as painting, print media, ceramics, sculpture and digital media and refine these skills in studio classes designed to bring your ideas to reality.
Visual artists may work in their own practice, or in a wide range of contexts across the arts, government, community or commercial organisations.

To attain this qualification, you are required to successfully complete fifteen (15) units of competence, comprising five (5) core and ten (10) elective units selected from the options provided below.

- Concessions and the secondary school age fee cap do not apply to commercial courses (short courses), or Foundation Programs (i.e ESL and General Education).
- Secondary school aged persons (in 2024, students born on or after 1 July 2006 who are at least 15 years old in 2024) undertaking training that is not part of a VET Delivered to Secondary Schools program, the maximum course (tuition) fee chargeable is $420. Additional resource fees and discretionary fees may apply.
