Chainsaw and Polesaw Skill Set
Time to refine your chainsaw and polesaw skills!
Students will be provided with college chainsaws, pole saw and personal protective equipment and all other necessary tools, oils, fuels, and specialty equipment. Classroom facilities will be available, and students are encouraged to bring their own equipment to the course to gain confidence and knowledge in the use of their own allocated workplace equipment. Learner to provide their own work attire and steel capped boots.

This course is fee free* for residents of Western Australia.

Whilst the training is more ‘Ranger focused’, the course is open to any students interested in learning how to operate a chainsaw and polesaw. It is expected that the students would have a reasonable level of language, literacy, numeracy and skills and be fairly self-directed and motivated learners.
