By completing a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology you will be ready for a career in the automotive servicing industry. You will have the broad range of skills and knowledge required to work effectively in the automotive industry, including diagnosis and repair, braking systems, transmissions, servicing, suspension, and workplace safety and health.
The Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology is an apprenticeship you must be employed in a training contract by an appropriate organisation to study.

Units and fees
To attain this qualification, you are required to successfully complete thirty six (36) units of competence, comprising twenty (20) core and sixteen (16) elective units selected from the options provided below. On-the-job learning must also be completed to achieve this qualification under Apprenticeship arrangements.
