The aquaculture hatchery is where it all begins for our fish. We boast state of the art equipment and an advanced filtration system. The programs focus on production of marine ornamentals, popular food fish and pearl oysters.
The BCMI facillity and its staff are recognised as lead researchers in the breeding and production of marine ornamental fish and we are the biggest supplier of cultured ‘Nemos’ or clown fish, Australia‐wide.
A fully equipped, state‐of‐the‐art laboratory is well established and is widely used for commercial water and soil analysis.
The growth of the Conservation and Land Management industry has led to the addition of five plant shade houses, accredited by the Nursery & Garden Industry Association of Australia as best practise horticulture greenhouses and nursery facilities.
