'The Heart of TAFE' 2025 Photography Competition is open for entries until 5pm EST on July 7, 2025.
The Australian Education Union's annual national photography competition is now open for entry. TAFE students were invited to take photos that depict 'The Heart of TAFE' in 2025 and be part of telling a powerful visual story about the life-changing role of Australia’s world-class TAFE system. Whether it was the learning facilities, student diversity or the expert hands-on training, natural snaps, selfies or fully staged shots, entrants had the creative freedom to impress us with their vision about the life-changing opportunity that TAFE brings. Entry is free for all currently enrolled TAFE students.

Judging Criteria
State, territory and overall winner prizes are awarded with regard to the following criteria:
- Relevance and / or interpretation of the theme
- Artistic merit
- Emotion
- Considered a high-quality photograph
