This project invites children and young people across WA to showcase their talent and creativity through words and/or drawings, sharing their respect for Traditional Custodians and the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, land, and waters.
Selected entries will be combined to create an acknowledgment that reflects the voices of young people and will be used by the Commissioner’s office going forward. This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to reflect on their thoughts, do some research, and start conversations that represent their connection to the community and each other.
The Commissioner encourages sincerity and creativity in all submissions. Entry is free and open to all WA children and young people aged up to 17 years. Entries close at 9am on Wednesday, 14 May 2025. All submissions will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a $50 kids/teen voucher.
