This Skill Set covers the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a hand‑held chainsaw and pole saw and maintain them in proper working condition.
It applies to cross‑cutting fallen timber using safe and appropriate cutting techniques. The program is designed for individuals who follow low‑risk work procedures and comply with worksite health and safety requirements when operating hand‑held chainsaws to carry out routine tasks.
This program is delivered onsite as a two‑day short course.
You will learn:
