Build Your Confidence: Start Your Learning Journey Today

This introductory course is designed for adults who want to build confidence in reading, writing, and basic maths. It’s perfect for anyone looking to improve their foundational skills to access further study, gain employment, or participate more fully in the community.

Throughout the program, you’ll develop practical literacy skills to create and understand simple, familiar texts—both on paper and online. You’ll also strengthen your numeracy skills to handle everyday situations. In addition, the course helps you set personal learning goals so you can track your progress and stay motivated.

By focusing on essential literacy and numeracy skills, this course provides a strong foundation for personal growth and future opportunities. Whether your goal is further education, a new job, or simply feeling more confident in daily life, this program is a great starting point.

Did you struggle with high-school or not even graduate? Well, this may be the course for you to help you build your confidence and develop a good study routine. A key focus of this course is to develop your capability to engage with further study, so expect plenty of friendly assistance and guidance as you re-engage with education. Some of the areas you will work through include:

  • Setting learning goals
  • Improving your reading and writing skills to engage with workplace documentation, community events and building your learning capability
  • Improving your capability with maths to meet workplace competence.

You will also have the opportunity to work on other interests such as history, science, or computing skills to round out your skills.
