The Certificate I in General Education for Adults focuses on the development of learning goals and the skills and knowledge to engage with and create simple, familiar and predictable paper and digital texts for different purposes and numeracy skills for application in familiar and predictable situations.

On successful completion of the qualification, learners can expect to achieve:

  • 22690VIC - Certificate I in General Education for Adults 
  • Development of foundation literacy, numeracy, communication, digital and learning skills 
  • Improved confidence, motivation, and ability to engage in structured learning

Increased readiness to transition into: 

  • Further secondary education or alternative education pathways
