Probus Retirees Visit Central Regional TAFE Geraldton Campus
This morning, Central Regional TAFE Geraldton had the pleasure of welcoming approximately 20 members of the Probus Club Retirees Group for a guided campus tour. From 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, our guests explored several key training areas and experienced firsthand the diverse learning opportunities we offer.
🔧 The tour began in our Metals and Automotive workshops, where members toured workshops and facilities.
🎨 In the Arts and Creative Industries area, the group enjoyed a vibrant display of creativity and innovation.
🍽️ A visit to Hospitality provided a taste of TAFE, with our guests touring the Zeewijk restaurant and teaching kitchens.
💇♀️ At Evolution Hair and Beauty, there was great enthusiasm as the group explored the dynamic and stylish environment where students hone their craft.
🩺 The group also visited our Nursing and Allied Health facilities, where they learned about the vital training we provide for future healthcare professionals.
🥗 The tour concluded with a beautifully prepared lunch at the Me-N-U Café.
It was a perfect way to wrap up a morning of discovery and connection.
We extend our sincere thanks to the dedicated staff who made this visit such a success: Daniel Badullovich, Lexie Lazenby, Emil Skrutvold, Mitch Mitchell, Renee Hapke, Sarah Nolan, and Kellie Rodden. Your time, knowledge, and warm hospitality were greatly appreciated.
We are delighted to share that the visit has already resulted in one enrolment, with several other attendees expressing strong interest in our programs.
Feedback from the group was overwhelmingly positive, with particular praise for the friendliness and expertise of our staff, the quality of our facilities, and the welcoming atmosphere of our campus.
This event was a wonderful example of community engagement in action, and we look forward to continuing to build strong connections with groups like Probus in the future.
