Students enrolling in the Dog Act 1976 workshop will take a guided deep dive into the Dog Act 1976 and Dog Regulations 2013 with Sharleen Jordan. Learn how to interpret and apply the provisions of this legislation as per the industry standard, and to develop a greater understanding of the various sections and ‘tools’ embedded within. This workshop is suitable for Local Government Rangers, Animal Control Officers, Animal Management Facility Operators and may be of benefit to those in allied fields such as Animal Welfare Inspectors, or those wishing to attain a greater understanding of the Dog Act 1976 from a practitioner’s perspective.

- Secondary school aged persons (in 2026, students born on or after 1 July 2008 who are at least 15 years old in 2026) undertaking training that is not part of a VET Delivered to Secondary Schools program, the maximum course (tuition) fee chargeable is $420. Additional resource fees and discretionary fees may apply.
- VET Student Loans for eligible courses and fee caps may be subject to changes implemented by the Australian Government.
