If you want to help people look and feel their best, this Certificate III in Barbering qualification will provide you with the technical skills and knowledge required to work as a barber.
You'll learn the essentials needed to work in the men's grooming industry including:
- designing and creating haircuts,
- designing and maintaining beards and moustaches,
- shaving heads and faces
- health, safety, hygiene
- financial and retail skills to work in a salon

Units and fees
To attain this qualification, you are required to successfully complete twenty-six (26) units of competence, comprising twenty-one (21) core and five (5) elective units selected from the options provided below. On-the-job learning must also be completed to attain this qualification under Apprenticeship arrangements.
